It is the nature of jewelry to tarnish, and outside of brass and gold-filled items, it can be hard to get that original shine back.

Here’s how you can keep your luster, longer!

After every use, GENTLY clean your jewelry with a cotton ball or a very soft cloth to remove any dust and dirt. You may gently rub the surface of your gold plated jewelry using a soft jewelry cloth.

You may also soak gold-filled it gold-plated items briefly in warm, soapy water and dry with a soft cloth as needed (or a soft toothbrush to clean small cracks and crevices). Gold-filled items love a good bath. For gold-filled items, pat to dry only!

Store in a soft bag to prevent scratches.

Do *not* use a polishing cloth on gold-plated items as this will strip away the plating. You may use polishing cloths on your gold-filled items.

For brass items, polish with fine grit steel wool.

Keep all jewelry dry and avoid wearing when exercising, swimming, showering or other rigorous activities that may cause you to sweat.

It’s hard, but avoid wearing the same pieces daily. Our body’s chemicals can often facilitate the tarnishing process.

Breaks happen! So do repairs! If your jewelry breaks, contact us within 30 days of receipt of items and we’ll help you from there!
